The Civic Theatre Underground Presents “The Conversation About the Keys” This Weekend (Interview)

Local award-winning playwright Alice Shen is debuting her play, The Conversation About the Keys, this weekend at the Civic Theatre!

The official synopsis of the show is as follows:

With wit and wisdom reminiscent of “Annie Hall,” the two companion one-acts follow Tim and Thalia, a couple on the brink of tying the knot, who stop to reflect on the transience of love despite all efforts to make it last. Told in flashbacks and fantasies, “The Conversation About the Keys” waxes bittersweet on the phases of modern romance: the chase, the connection, and what remains after the end.

The show stars Jim Hunter, Christina Hauger, Kevin Roach, Joe Gilpatrick, Devin Victoria McBride, and Melissa Henning. The show opens this Friday (Sept 2nd) on the Civic Theatre main stage on the corner of Columbia and Fulton in Evansville.
