Although I had to practically beg her, my older sister finally gave me her infamous monster cookie recipe...just in time for the holidays!

Monster cookies have been something I look forward to every year around Christmas time. Someone from the family is always whippin' up something, and most recently, my older sister has been taking charge of the dessert game.

A couple years back, I tried her monster cookies. Although it was tough to admit, they were pretty F'in great. Yesterday, I FaceTimed my niece and used her as leverage to get my sister's recipe. She might really come after me for this, but I'm going to share it with all of you. You're welcome!

You'll need:

1 and 1/4 cups light brown sugar
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup butter
1 and 1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tsp baking soda
4 1/2 cups oats (old fashioned)
3/4 cup M&Ms (I used peanut M&Ms because they're way better)
3/4 cup chocolate chips (I was generous)

Directions are as follows:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine sugar and eggs
- Add salt, vanilla, butter and peanut butter
- Add baking soda and oatmeal
- Stir in M&Ms and chocolate chips by hand
- Spoon batter onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper - make sure they're at least 2 inches apart

Cook for 8-10 minutes. Move to wire rack to cool.

Makes approximately 700 cookies. Not really, but it felt like it. I'd say I made 50 easily.

That's it! You've got the best monster cookies around!

***I recommend dipping in a glass of cold milk***
