Indiana Jane is an archaeologist who resides in Evansville, Indiana and will be hosting an online activity that you can do safely from home during our time of social distancing. The activity will be spread out over two sessions via Facebook with the first session offering instructions and guidance and the second will give you the opportunity to discuss the results of your assignment from the first session with a real archaeologist, Indiana Jane!

 

The first event will take place on Monday, March 30th at 2pm CST where you will,

Learn more about archaeology and what archaeologists do (while social distancing)! This activity will be tailored for children aged 6-17, but is also accessible and pertinent to adults. Part I will include instructions for the activity, and Part II will allow you to interact with a professional archaeologist who will help interpret what you find!

The second event will take place on Monday, April 6th at 2pm CST and thanks to Facebook live, you can have a virtual conversation with a with Indiana Jane where participants can discuss the results of their assignment from the first session.

This will be a great opportunity for you to get outside but still practice safe social distancing while learning something new and exciting. This is definitely a great way to share some at-home learning with the kids. Find Indiana Jane on Facebook.
