This morning, southern Indiana, Illinois and Western Kentucky has been hit by up to 12" of snow! In Wisconsin or Michigan, this wouldn't be anything to write home about but here in the 'almost South' we take our snow very seriously. Because kids are off school and have been patiently dealing with family time, it may be a good time to go outside and sled or build a snowman...
I'll admit, it doesn't take much to distract me from whatever it is I'm doing at the time, but when I saw snow falling from the ski on Tuesday I couldn't stop from staring out the window for an extended amount of time. It wasn't that I was completely fascinated by the falling flakes (although that had a little to do with it), but my mind started to wander with thoughts of all the fun I could have
This holiday season, as you get together with your loved ones, be sure to roast chestnuts on an open fire, hang mistletoe, but under no circumstances will you build a snowman without someone getting a payday!
