For the fourth time in five years, Evansville Mater Dei's Supermileage Team brought home a first place trophy from the annual Shell Eco-Marathon in Detroit, Michigan.

Mater Dei and Memorial high schools invite you to their biggest “fun-raising” event this Sunday, March 13th at Old National Events Plaza’s Exhibit Hall, downtown Evansville.

Rivalries are meant to inspire pride of one's own school, club, organization, or whatever. While some rivalries also involve good-natured (and sometimes not-so-good-natured) ribbing, vandalizing the opposition's property with spray paint absolutely the wrong way to go about it.

Put on your dancin' shoes and get ready to boog-a-loo till you pass out for a good cause on Friday, April 24th!

It's the end of the road for the high school football season, and the Mater Dei Wildcats have the chance to close it out with a Class 2A state championship.

The Class 2A State Final is scheduled for next Friday at 11 a.m. Central inside Lucas Oil Stadium. If the Mater Dei Wildcats hope to make it there, they'll first have to travel two and a half hours north to Monrovia, Indiana to take on a Bulldogs team with the same intent.

If the road to a state title was easy, everyone would have one in their trophy case. Of course that's not the case, as the best teams advance each week to face each other which will be the case when the number one and number three teams in Class 2A meet at the Reitz Bowl Friday Night for the Regional Championship.

The regular season is over. Now it's win or go home for every team in the state of Indiana as Sectionals get underway Friday night.

The two lone undefeated teams in the SIAC meet under the lights of the Reitz Bowl with the City, Conference, and West Side Nut Club titles on the line.

After a shaky 1-2 start, the Castle Knights put together two big wins over the last two weeks, and look to continue their winning ways over a tough Mater Dei team who has yet to taste defeat in the 2014 season.

The Mater Dei Wildcats look to remain undefeated on the 2014 season as they head to northern Vanderburgh County to take on the 1-3 North Huskies.

The annual event challenges students from across the country to create concept cars capable of getting ridiculously high ratios of miles per gallon.
