12-year-olds generally aren't passionate about much outside of video games, or sports, but for 12-year-old Evansville resident, Haley Mattes, her passion lies in the kitchen, and her love of cooking. It's a passion that will be on display to a nationwide audience during the season premiere of Chopped Junior on Food Network Tuesday night.
The face of Evansville native, and Memorial High School graduate, Chase Meneely showed up not once, but twice on my TV Sunday evening while watching Food Network. First during Guy's Grocery Games: Redemption, then later on during a new episode of Cutthroat Kitchen.
Despite her efforts to save face -- with not one but two apology videos -- that deposition stemming from a lawsuit which revealed her casual use of the n-word (as well as other seemingly racist actions) has cost Paula Deen her job at the Food Network.
