Since 1984, Habitat for Humanity Evansville has served poverty stricken families in the tri-state by building quality houses for them to call home. These houses are built by people like me and you. Sadly, nearly everyone is affected by some form of cancer in some way. Personally, I've had family members lose their battle with the disease, so I know what it can do not only to the person affected, but there family as well. On the flip side, I also know people who have survived cancer and are leading normal, healthy lives thanks in part to fundraising efforts such as the upcoming Relay for Life
