1998 was a grand year for hip-hop.

After you make the 'Sgt. Pepper' of hip-hop, what do you do for an encore? If you were the Beastie Boys in the early ’90s, you started over.

The Rock Hall collection will boast hand-written “Brass Monkey” lyrics, action figures, the “Intergalactic” music video costumes and more.

Just one day shy of the anniversary of the death of Beastie Boy Adam "MCA" Yauch, a Brooklyn park in which he played as a child was renamed in his honor.

Adam Yauch aka MCA of the Beastie Boys lost his battle with cancer on Friday. The music world will never be the same.
