Sophie was only 12 years old when she decided to start fundraising to help the homeless in our community. She raised money for Aurora by playing music on her Facebook page, Spreading Kindness with Sophie.

Sophie has come a long way in her efforts to not only raise money for Aurora but to also create awareness about Evansville's homeless population. Let's be honest, most teenagers do not realize some of the underlying issues that our city has, let alone find ways to help out.

It's a Family Thing

Sophie has a ton of support from her moms. In fact, Bobbie Ann and Kayla both participated in 48 Hours in the Life The Evansville Homeless Experience Project. They are also very supportive of her music career.

Every time that I hear Sophie perform, I am just in awe. She hosts Music Mondays on her Facebook page, Spreading Kindness with Sophie, and she knows so many genres of music. You might hear Blind Melon, Taylor Swift, Tom Petty, or a Sophie original.

Now that Sophie is fourteen years old, her moms decided that it is time for her to start a separate Facebook page just for her music.
