Southern Indiana Dog Rescue Seeks Home For Senior Siberian Husky
Just look at those ears, those eyes, and that smile! This sweet doggie is named Willow. She is our Pet of the Week with It Takes a Village No-Kill Canine Rescue.
Willow is a senior (10 years young) but she has plenty of love and cuddles to share. Our friends at ITV tell us that she is good with kids, but Willow needs to be the only dog child in the family. I know all about that, my dog is also an only dog child by choice.
She loves to go on car rides, she's calm and very happy. Her adoption fee is $175, and Willow is up to date on all vaccines, she's spayed, and microchipped with lifetime microchip registration.
You can fill out an adoption application today HERE.
Other Ways to Help
Maybe your family is allergic or you just can have a pet right now, there are plenty of ways to help It Takes a Village.
- Transport dogs to and from appointments as well as help us run errands
- Train dogs that haven’t been given an obedience foundation
- Help walk dogs and clean kennels
- Assist with and plan fundraisers and adoption events
- Cross-post on social media when we need help
And as always, if our pet of the week isn’t the right fit for your home, please visit It Takes a Village to see the other rescues that need to get fostered and adopted. And don't forget about ITV's RENT A DOG Program. A quick fill form and copy of your photo ID will allow you time out with one of ITV's vetted shelter dogs. These day dates are great for the rescues - it gets them some exercise and new information to help us get them adopted. It’s been a big hit- so don’t miss out!
All of the animals at ITV are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and FIV/FeLV-tested.
