The party of the summer has officially become too big for one day to contain.

Ski Day has been a tradition on the Ohio River for over 30 years. Until this year, the only way to be a part of the action and have a story to tell your friends and family (assuming you can remember one) was to either own a boat yourself or make friends with someone who does. That all changes with the 2012 edition.

For the first time ever, Ski Day on the Ohio will be open to everyone by starting Friday, August 10th at 4pm at The Pointe with live music from Gonzo's Toybox, Keith Vincent, and Adam Blythe along with qualifying rounds of the $1,000 cash grand prize, "homemade bikini contest", and a hog roast!

The party picks up again on Saturday, August 11th at The Pointe with more live music from Evansville bands, The Crowd and Zion and Joe's Garage, as well as the finals of the homemade bikini contest.

The weekend wraps up with the original Ski Day on the Ohio at Newburgh Beach from Noon-5pm on Sunday, August 12th. The whole KISS Crew will be on hand for the frivolity that includes the World Famous Ski Day Bikini and King of the Beach contests! So pack a cooler, find a boat, and be there!
