Cars are one of those things that when you get your first one, if you're anything like I was chances are it probably wasn't the best car in the world, and probably needed some work. But when you're 16, it really doesn't matter as long as it has wheels and an engine. Thanks to Subaru, you can now tell your first car story, by making a video and it's really cool and easy too do the website pretty much does it for you.  You can also check out my first car story too.

If you're anything like me when I got my first car I was so excited, I put a lot of miles on that car (and by a lot, I mean A LOT, we're talking a good 50,000 just in the few years I owned it). My parents bought it for me in 2006 and only paid $1,500 for it (which is a pretty sweet deal because I'm 21 and my first car is still up and running even with almost 200,000 miles on it!) One thing about your first car is the memories you can make, in high school you couldn't keep me in the house, I was constantly out with my friends, and most of our weekends consisted of cruising Green (do people even still do that anymore with gas prices at almost $4 a gallon?!) with the music up loud, or just driving around aimlessly until we ran out of gas or found something fun to do.  Like one time I remember it was summer and we all piled in my car and when driving and ended up stumbling across the smallest and probably the most unsafe street fair ever.  We were the only ones there besides the carnival workers and it was creepy and awesome all at the same time.

Anyways, I just recently bought a new car it's my second car ever and the first car I actually bought myself! so I'm pretty proud of it.  My old car is still in the family, my Dad's using it to drive back and forth to work to keep the miles off his truck.  So I did the First Car Story on Subaru's website, and thought it was a pretty cool idea that I'd share with you.  If you make one let me know because I'd love to see yours.

And here's the link to my own personal first car story So it's totally lame, but it reminded me of some of the awesome times my fiends and I had in that car.  (Oh and sidenote, my cars name wasn't actually Bessy, it never really had a name, so I don't know why that's there. )

What was your first car like?
