Scarlett Johannson Kicks Butt in Newly Released Clip From ‘The Avengers’ [VIDEO]

Not that I need any more reasons to be excited about the May 4th release of The Avengers, but this clip released today by Marvel featuring Scarlett Johannsen's character, Black Widow, kicking butt and taking names certainly doesn't hurt.

Addmittedly, I don't know much about the character Black Widow other than she made her first appearance in Iron Man 2. The Marvel Comics website has a lengthy description about her origins in Russia and how she came to be a member of The Avengers, but I won't get into that here because it's not really that important. What is important is that she's one of the good guys and can handle her own when handling the bad guys. See for yourself:
