Sage is the Perfect Puppy Playmate for Kids—Warrick Humane Society Pet of the Week
When WHS sent me this week's Pet of the Week, I instantly fell in love! With her sandy blond fur and sweet smile, Sage looks like the perfect companion. She’s an 8-month-old Heeler mix, smart and super motivated by treats—ideal for obedience classes and even agility training!
Sage is such a sweet girl! When she visited Eyewitness News 25 she fell head over paws for Joe Bird. She loves people and kids, and she does well with other dogs, though the WHS recommends a meet-and-greet just to be safe. At 30 pounds, she’s the perfect size for any family!

Sage is up to date on all her vaccines, deworming, and heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Plus, she’s spayed and microchipped! If you’re looking for a loving new friend, Sage could be the one for you!
Sadly, Sage and her four brothers have been at the Warrick Humane Society for two months. Their adoption fees have been discounted by 20%. You can stop by the shelter during our open hours to visit them, and maybe you'll find your new best friend! They are open Wednesday-Thursday 12-7 and Friday-Sunday 12-4.
Check her brothers Tex, Jax, Duke, and rover.
