Breaking news this morning from the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Owensboro.  ROMP, scheduled for the last week in June, has now officially been postponed until 2021.  A few weeks ago officials stopped short of canceling the event for the year.  They had hoped to possibly stage the event in late summer or fall.  However, the decision has been made to wait until next year.

Obviously, there is important news for you if you are a ROMP ticket holder.  You have three options available to you:

1. Transfer your tickets to the 2021 festival.
2. Donate all, or a portion, of your ticket purchase to the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum,  which is dedicated to bluegrass music education and the preservation of bluegrass music.
3. Or you have the option to receive a full refund.

ROMP, held annually at Yellow Creek Park, has become a signature event here in Owensboro-Daviess County.  Personally, it's one of my favorite events of the year.  The music, food trucks and crowd representing all cross-sections of our community and beyond give the event an atmosphere like none other here in town.
