Just like celebrities wore black dresses and tuxedos to the 2018 Golden Globes, many celebs will be wearing white roses to the 2018 Grammy Awards.

Rita Ora will be one of the artists sporting the white rose and in a statement given to MTV News, she detailed why she believes the roses shows solidarity. Inspired by Voices in Entertainment, Ora said, "It is important for us to come together and show others they are not alone."

"Music has always brought people together and has been an outlet for individuals to express all kinds of emotions," the "For You" singer added. "It is important that our art form continue to create safe spaces for people to explore these issues. My hope is that the #whiterose movement is just the beginning.”

Like the Time's Up movement, Voices in Entertainment has made it their mission to eradicate gender inequality and sexual misconduct in the music industry. A group of 15 women—Voices in Entertainment is spearheaded by Meg Harkins, the SVP of Marketing at Roc Nation, and Karen Rait, who handles Rhythmic Promotion at Interscope/Geffen/A&M Records.

Other artists such as Halsey, Dua Lipa and Kelly Clarkson have already shown support to Voices in Entertaiment's initiative, although Halsey and Dua Lipa will not be attending the Grammy Awards.

The 2018 Grammy Awards will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. EDT.
