It's time once again for a binge-watch recommendation! This week, the show I'm recommending can be streamed on Hulu Plus so you are going to need to throw down some cash and get that.

Rick and Morty (Adult Swim, 21 Episodes)

Rick and Morty is a weird show. The word "weird" gets thrown around a lot but this show is the definition. From the minds of Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon (of Community fame), The show follows the story of a alcoholic scientist, Rick, and his grandson, Morty. The show explores so many themes of depression, growing older, and what would happen if your dog got a robot body and tried to take over.

While the show can sometimes have super dark moments, it's still an animated comedy and will make you laugh on a consistent basis. That's not to say that this show is for everyone, as it certainly isn't. But if you always wondered what would happen if Marty and Doc from Back to the Future if Doc was unhinged and Marty was a child who didn't know any better.

There are only two seasons of the show so far (with a third on the way later this year) and the episodes are only about 20ish minutes. I've rewatched the entire series at least twice and introduced it to numerous friends. The voice-acting cast is an all-star lineup including Chris Parnell, Sarah Chalke, and various guest stars. Justin Roiland provides the voice of both Rick and Morty.

If you've been looking for a new animated show to get into once you watch all of South Park, The Simpsons, and Bob's Burgers, Rick and Morty is definitely the show to watch. And remember: Get Schwifty!
