Clueless ‘Price is Right’ Contestants Think iPhone 6 Cost $7,500
For all the brilliant contestants we see on game shows, it's always funnier to watch ones who are somewhat incompetent.
On the final 2014 episode of 'The Price is Right,' contestants were asked to bid on a new iPhone 6, complete with a year of unlimited talk, text and data . One person said $7,500. Another, employing some strategy, said $7,501, before the next two contestants brought the bidding back down to earth with some reasonable guesses.
Needless to say, the $7,500 folks were way, way off and really need to walk into a Sprint, Verizon, AT&T or Apple store to do some research.
But, hey, thanks for the laugh. Wonder if they called everyone they knew on their wildly overpriced phones to say they were going to be on 'The Price is Right.'
