PG Hosting Collaborative Hip-Hop Mixtape Show on Saturday
If you like hip-hop, you'll not want to miss this show.
Popular music venue PG is hosting a super cool show this Saturday night. It's the culmination of a year-long effort put in by local hip hop artists. They've been constructing different songs throughout the year that will be recorded onto a mixtape at the show. Here's the official synopsis for the event:
A Year of Hip-Hop...
Using Jazzy Jeff's PLAYLIST as an example, the goal is to bring a bunch of "hip hop" musicians together to collaborate on a mix tape about issues, opportunities, and aspirations of Evansville - especially as it relates to creativity, culture, arts, music, poor areas, gentrification, places such as PG.
Then on Saturday [Feb 3rd] perform together at a show, at PG.
