Seriously, get over yourself.

Last night, the long anticipated seventh season of Game of Thrones premiered and, in short, it was f***ing awesome. The way the episode started off is one of the most memorable starts to a season of the entire run. Game of Thrones fans everywhere rejoiced because there favorite show had returned (after a longer than usual wait). However, throughout the day, there was somewhat a badge of honor for people posting on Facebook that they've never seen an episode of Game of Thrones. And I'm here to say that nobody gives a single s***.

Cool, you don't watch a show that everyone else seems to love. That's fine. But why can't you just let us who actually watch the show enjoy it? Do you feel some sort of sad superiority because you've managed to avoid the phenomenon that is Game of Thrones? I mean, there are a ton of shows that I've never watched, but I don't feel the need to shout it from the rooftops just to be contrary. I guarantee the same people posting they've never seen an episode of GOT are the same people that say "LOL IS THERE SOME SORT OF GAME ON TODAY LOL XD !!!!!!!!shift+1!!!!" on Super Bowl Sunday or "See you next year" on New Years Eve. In short, these people are the worst and deserve no happiness in their lives.

And don't be mistaken, if you don't like Game of Thrones, that's different from this "Better than thou" attitude about never having seen it. At least if you didn't like it, you at least gave it a try. I mean, you're still wrong because Game of Thrones is one of the most impressive television shows of the past 20 years, but at least you tried. It just wasn't for you, although if Game of Thrones wasn't for you, I'd hate to see what you actually enjoy (probably Big Bang Theory).

In short, if you want to feel superior about not having done something, go all in. Walk by charity races and scream "I'VE NEVER HAD THAT DISEASE!" or attend a wedding and shout that you've never been married. You need to double down on being a douche-noodle so that everyone can realize what they're dealing with. Meanwhile, the rest of us will be enjoying our time in Westoros.

Be sure to check back in December when this will be titled "Nobody Cares That You've Never Seen Star Wars."
