Nashville Has Massage Chair Bus Tours…I Can Be There in Two Hours
I forget how wonderful it is to be this close to one of the nation's top tourist meccas, but that also reminds us how we must never take it for granted, either.
My sister and I did not grow up with any of our first cousins. They're all out in New Mexico. And whenever they'd come to visit, Nashville would have to be on the agenda. And that was and IS always fine by me. But for THEM, well, they just couldn't get over how close we lived to Music City.
I didn't get it then. I do now.
And, over the years, I have caught myself forgetting about all the ways to kill boredom that are just a pretty quick drive down I-165 and I-65.
And I'm not even talking about the obvious attractions like the Country Music Hall of Fame or the Grand Ole Opry. Sure, that's for the WAY-out-of-towners who come to middle Tennessee. Those of us who are closer have learned to mine the depths of Nashville that might never occur to some people.
Nashville has given us those pedal bars, where you and several others are the Fred Flintstones while a bartender serves up your favorite cocktail or beer.
Then, of course, there's the mobile hot tub, which, I think, is pretty self-explanatory.
Well, now (and this is RIGHT up my wheelhouse), Music City is offering The Weird and Wonky Massage Chair Bus Tour. And, yes, it's a thing; it is not a new Seth Rogen movie.
I love this!
You know, it appears to be a bus filled with those massage chairs you see in the mall. And if I have to be in a mall, that's probably where you'll find me.
And maybe, from now on, if I'm in Nashville with, say, a group of people, THIS might be where you find me. Just put me on a massage chair bus and go do whatever it is you have to do.
I will be here when you get back.
