Morgan Wallen's cover of Jason Isbell's Cover Me Up in a short film will bring you to your knees especially if you know someone in the military. WATCH-->

Cover Me Up is part of Jason Isbell's 2013 Southeastern Album.  I have never really listened to Jason Isbell so I had never heard the song until this past Saturday when I was preparing to clean the house so I pulled up YouTube on the TV and typed in Morgan Wallen.  The first video to play was Morgan's cover of the song.  It stopped me dead in my tracks and I watched the entire eight-minute video while tears streamed down my face.

The video highlights the effects of PTSD on Veterans.  One line in the song So cover me up and know you're enough To use me for good.  This went deep to the bone for me.  The line for me meant finding someone that will love you through the absolute worst and help you see the good.

Many don't understand what those men and women in the service deal with when they return home.  This video sheds a very bright life on the realization of PTSD.

If you know a veteran that needs support the number to call here in Owensboro is 270-684-5034.  If you would like to find support near you click here.

A huge thank you to all the men and women who serve or have served.  May God Bless and keep you.
