Monte Skelton Joins Kenny Loggins in Virtual Musical Festival

Earlier this summer, Evansville Regional Airport had the honor of being part of the first-ever JetStream Summer Fest. This virtual concert featured The Honey Vines and various other acts from all over the country. Airport terminals used to be known for live performances, and this is a cool way for us to see a concert, and tip the artists too. Tonight, August 19, 2020, Evansville Regional will be a part of the second online music festival.

Nate Hahn, Executive Director of Evansville Regional Airport, says they are very thrilled to be a part of this series.

“Just as airports connect people, places and cultures, music also serves as a great connection to our communities and the world. And during a season typically full of music festivals and events, like Parks Fest, ROMP and W.C. Handy Blues Festival, COVID19 has forced us to adapt and become more creative, so we are thrilled to be a part of this second collective partnership, which allows us to bring even more music to our audience at a safe distance and showcase Evansville’s arts on the national stage.”

If you follow local musicians, you have heard of Monte Skelton. He has  performed with  The Temptations and renowned jazz vocalist Sherrie Bias, among many other famed musicians. Oh, and did I mention that he can play more than 20 different instruments? He is an amazing musician, and I can't wait to watch him perform.

If that isn't enough for you, Kenny 'Danger Zone' Loggins will also be performing tonight.
