Monica’s Big News

I'm officially a Disney World Cast Member!!!  Sadly, but magically, I will be leaving KISS fm on Thursday July 16th to go work in the Happiest Place on Earth!

I have a Bachelor of Science in Radio and Television, but I will be taking a little break from radio to go fulfill my dream of working in Disney World.  I will be starting as a full time Deep Water Lifeguard, then working my way up into audio/technical work on the shows that are put on each magical day.  But for now you might catch me saving lives or dancing on the deck in Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon.

My ultimate goal in life is to be a Disney cartoon/character voice over, so we'll see where I go from here!

I've enjoyed my time with 106.1 KISS fm, but I'm sure not having to experience a winter will make things better.

Thank you Ryan O'bryan for giving me a chance to do the night show, even when I didn't have any airchecks to provide you.  Taking chances turn out to be a good thing, right?? haha
