Mesker Park Zoo and Alcoa will be raising awareness on the importance of conservation all while having a great time during the "Party for the Planet" on Sunday, April 22nd (Earth Day!) from 11am-4pm.

Open to the public, the event features something for everyone including crafts, activities, giveaways, and learning opportunities hosted by a wide variety of conservation related businesses and organizations all around the Zoo grounds.

You'll also be able to enjoy free RC products all day long inside the Rainforest Cafe just by bringing a reusable bottle while you listen to presentations by Mesker Park Zookeepers on selected zoo animals and enjoy live entertainment throughout the day.

Kids and adults alike are also encouraged to enter the Party for the Planet "Recycled Art Contest" for the chance to win Family Membership passes.

If you haven't been to Mesker Park Zoo in some time, this is a great opportunity to see the tremendous improvements that have been made over the year such as the new main entrance (pictured above) as well as Amazonia and the newly remodeled Kley Building.
