So it's no secret, I had a HUGE awkward stage in school.  And by "huge awkward stage" I arguably still might be in it...  One thing is for certain though, I'm very thankful for puberty for helping a sister out.

Junior high through like most  of high school, was a very awkward time for me. I didn't wear makeup, I colored my hair weird colors (okay that still hasn't changed), and I had no idea what tweezers or eyebrow wax was.  Throw all of that on top of the fact that I had no idea how to dress myself (honestly, I'm 25 now and still haven't figured that one out) and you have yourself a lot hilarious, and quite sad, pictures.

I was a young teenager when Myspace was a thing so there are SO MANY selfies, to remember my awkward time from. LUCKY ME!

Here's one I found today, I think I was about 17 here, this is me with my dog Bailey! Bailey is still around today, she's 9, and is blind now, so this picture did make me extra sad because I love how young and healthy my girl is.  But thank the puberty gods I'm in the photo for some comic relief!

And because she is so cute I can't stand it, here's how ole Bailey looks today.  Sure she's a little older, and a little grayer, but she is the best dog anyone could ever ask for. Puppies are cute and fun, but the old, loyal dog they grow into is really the best part.
