McLean County Hosting FREE Drive-In Movie Halloween Night (VIDEO)
Halloween will look quite different this year due to COVID but that doesn't mean we can't have fun. McLean County is inviting families to enjoy a socially distanced night of fun.
Angel here and our family will not be going door to door this year and we have been brainstorming as a family the things we could do to still celebrate. We love going to the movies, especially the drive-in. Holiday Drive-In in Reo is closed but we found a super fun event this weekend.
Meyer Park in Calhoun will be showing The Addams Family on Halloween night. Even though the event is FREE you need to make sure and register to reserve your spot for the evening. All you have to do is head to the EVENT Page on the right hand side it says tickets you just select one and then click "get tickets" and it will take you to reserve your spot and your set to go.
This movie is a classic. One we watch every single year as a family. My favorite character is Morticia Addams. Her dry and hilariously carefree humor and carefree attitude makes the movie. If I could pick a Halloween character to be it would totally be her. She definitely mothers like I do LOL. My second favorite Wednesday Addams. I fell in love with her in the girl scout scene. Here's why;
Here are a few things you'll need to know if you plan on attending the movie according to The Eric Group;
FREE Admission. However, please register in advance and secure a FREE ticket to attend.
This event is presented in accordance with all local, state, and CDC mandates & guidelines.
You must stay in your designated viewing area or in your vehicle. Facial Masks are REQUIRED if you go to the restroom or leave your area.
Bring your own snacks. There will not be concession sales.
No Glass Bottles, please. Alcohol is prohibited.
Gates open at 6pm - Main Entrance to the Park. Movie starts at 7pm.
