Mater Dei Girls Basketball Team Set for Second Straight Trip to State Final This Saturday

After a thrilling overtime win last Saturday, the Mater Dei High School girls basketball team look to capture their second consecutive state title this weekend.

Led by a 20 point, 10 rebound effort by Tori Schickel, the Lady Wildcats outlasted Heritage Christian, 56-49 to earn a trip back to The Hulman Center on the Indiana State University campus in Terre Haute where they will defend their championship against Eastern Greentown at 11:45am Evansville time.

Tickets for the game are $15 and will be available beginning at 7am at the Mater Dei Athletic Office. All tickets are reserved seating.
