Lorde Recruits Charli XCX, Diplo + More for ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ Soundtrack
Ever since it was announced that Lorde would be curating the soundtrack for 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1,' we've been anxiously awaiting to learn which artists she'll be assembling for the compilation album.
Page Six has now learned that Lorde has tapped Grace Jones, Duran Duran's Simon Le Bon, Diplo and Charli XCX are some of the names that will be recording songs for the soundtrack.
On her official Tumblr page, Lorde writes about staying up all night, listening to mixes and putting the final touches on the soundtrack.
She writes, "I work from midnight until late on the soundtrack, singing into my computer, listening to demos and final mixes. My bus sleeps. We are almost at the end, the point where this soundtrack gets taken away from me and becomes something real."
On Sept. 29, Lorde released her own single from the soundtrack titled 'Yellow Flicker Beat' and is currently available on iTunes for digital download.
'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1' hits theaters on Nov. 21.
