Summer is quickly approaching, and with summer comes outdoor music! Here are a few chances to experience some local hot spots for music, as well as other fun activities!

1) The Burdette Blues Fest
The Burdette Blues Fest is held at the Burdette Park Pavillion on June 3rd, 2017 at 1:30 pm in the afternoon! Expect live blues music, BBQ, Food Trucks, and fun at this year's Burdette Blues Fest! General Admission is $5.00 per person.

2) First Fridays
Every first Friday of the month in downtown Evansville, a street festival called First Fridays happens. This street festival includes amazing live music from a variety of local artists. First Fridays also allows everyone to experience the up and coming downtown arts district! Peruse around unique shops, art galleries, lounges, and restaurants! First Fridays continues until September.

3) Friday After 5
Friday After 5 in Owensboro, Kentucky is a summer-long music festival features free live music right on the gorgeous Owensboro riverfront on Friday nights! Friday After 5 occurs every Friday evening beginning at 5 pm. Expect family-friendly concerts by local artists and activities throughout! All activities at Friday After 5 are free!

4) Franklin Street Bazaar
Opening on June 17th, 2017 for its fourth year is the Franklin Street Bazaar. The Bazaar takes place every Saturday until September from 9am to 1pm. A number of local vendors gather to sell local items. Also at this market are food booths and food trucks, along with live music! A perfect family event, the Franklin Street Bazaar is the place to go on Saturday mornings in Evansville all summer long!

Happening Saturday mornings in downtown Newburgh, there is always so much to do and see! There are local meats, fruits, vegetables, baked goods, jewelry, flowers, herbs and live music!

The 2017 market is every Saturday morning starting May 27 to September 30 from 8-12 with live music each week from 9-12. Click here for the schedule of events!
