Lizzie is a Smart Girl Who Loves to Fetch

Lookin' for love? Look no further than Lizzie!

Lizzie is a 1.5 year old Red Heeler mix who will be available for adoption when the shelter opens again. She is with a wonderful foster mom who reported that she picked up on house training quickly. Of course, she'll need time to adjust to a new setting once adopted, but she's a smart girl. Her foster has also been working with her on basic commands.

She is great with most other dogs, but we always recommend a meet and greet if you have another dog. Lizzie is also great with kids. She tends to pester cats, but is not aggressive, so she may be better suited for a home without cats. Lizzie has a lot of energy and would love a forever family with a fenced yard for running and room to play fetch. She also enjoys chew toys to keep her occupied. Lizzie loves attention and wants nothing more than a forever family to shower her with love.
