EPAW or Evansville Partnership for Animal Welfare is hosting a community meeting tonight in Browning Room A of Central Library in hopes of gaining new members.

EPAW is an alliance dedicated to protecting animals in Evansville and Vanderburgh County through advocacy and education. The organization was started to help share ideas and goals for animal welfare in our community. Currently EPAW is made up of members from Evansville Animal Care & Control, It Takes a Village Canine Rescue, Another Chance for Animals, Vanderburgh Humane Society, liaisons from EPD and the veterinary community. These groups and individuals make up the charter members of EPAW. They are currently looking for additional support and membership to continue their mission protect the animals in our community through advocacy and education.
