Larry King has suffered another heart attack, but he's expected to make a full recovery.

According to TMZ, the television/radio host was scheduled for a doctor's appointment on Thursday (April 25) to undergo an angiogram but went into cardiac arrest as he was getting ready. He was immediately rushed by ambulance to a Los Angeles hospital where doctors reportedly performed an angioplasty. Sources told the outlet they repaired his collapsed artery and inserted several stents.

He's reportedly been placed in the cardiac ICU and is expected to be released later today (April 29). “He is okay right now,” an insider told People.

TMZ reports 85-year-old King, who previously suffered a heart attack in 1987, has been having trouble breathing lately and was planning on checking himself into the hospital.

Ever since his first heart attack, King has been advocating heart health and the importance of check-ups. He also released the book Taking on Heart Disease in 2004, in which he details how terrible his lifestyle was 30 years ago.

"In early 1987, I was smoking three packs of Nat Sherman cigarettes a day, eating fried this-and-that, enjoying lamb chops with lots of fat because that always improves the taste, ordering banana cream or lemon meringue pie for dessert —and feeling absolutely fine," he wrote.
