As more and more of us venture into the world with masks on our faces, it was only natural for us to wonder when businesses will begin requiring their employees to do the same thing.

If you've been to Kroger today, you've noticed such a change.

The company has been rapidly adapting to the changes in our daily lives the COVID-19 pandemic has created.

The store has arrows on the floor indicating one-way only aisles and markers that are six feet apart that guide patrons where to stand. There are plexiglass partitions to separate associates from customers.

And now WLWT-Cincinnati reports that all employees are now required to wear masks.

Kroger's CEO Rodney McMullen said that employees have been provided masks but are welcome to bring suitable ones from home, if they wish.

McMullen also mentioned an exception, acknowledging that some workers, for health reasons, would be unable to wear masks and be provided face shields instead as the company "explores other options."
