Kids Risk Stockings Full of Coal After Calling 911 to Talk to Santa

Sometimes a letter just isn’t fast enough when kids have important things to tell Santa Claus. Every once in a while a kid will have a Christmas emergency and have no other choice than to call 911 and ask for Santa.

This appeared to be the case in Kingston, NY on Sunday when two children, ages 6 and 4, called 911 and asked to speak with either Santa or the police chief.

Following standard procedure, police were dispatched to the home where they found everyone to be fine and then gave the kids a quick lesson in the proper use of 911 services.

The reason for the call was never discovered and there is no word yet from the North Pole on whether this incident put the kids on the “Naughty” list for the year.
