Katy Perry on Boyfriend Orlando Bloom: ‘Opposites Attract!’
Adorable celeb couple Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have been dating for nearly three years, which is like 10 years in Hollywood. Many probably wonder how they've made it work.
Despite a brief time apart in 2017, the power couple has been going strong since 2016. Now, Katy might have just dropped some gems on why their relationship works so well. Are you paying attention?
Thursday night (November 8) Katy and fellow American Idol judge Luke Bryan chatted with Entertainment Tonight in Hollywood after a day of taping Idol auditions for the singing show's upcoming season.
While the megastar musicians tried to keep the conversation about Idol, ET's Lauren Zima got Perry to open up about her relationship with the actor. Apparently Perry's assistant joked earlier in the day that Bryan's body is "not as good as Orlando Bloom's."
The conversation shifts to Bloom's intense fitness and health regimen and Perry says, "He's always trying to get me to hike, [do] yoga, eat vegan!"
"You know, there's a balance. When you're attracted to someone it's kind of...opposites attract. And so, I'm looking for that balance and maybe he's looking for that multitasker - I'm such a multitasker," Perry says before rerouting the interview back to Idol.
Whatever the couple is doing, it's working because they're still together, and happily so. The new season of American Idol, the long-running show's 17th overall after being rebooted on ABC last year, is expected to premiere in the coming months. Perry and Bryan, along with Lionel Richie and host Ryan Seacrest, will all be returning.
