Kat’s Thoughts on Last Night’s The Voice PLUS the Full Episode [VIDEO]

I feel like last night's episode of Blind Auditions opened & closed really strong, and everything else was, well, somewhere in between. If you missed it last night, you can catch the full episode right here.

Melanie Martinez opened the show with an incredible take on Britney Spears Toxic. It was unique & it was engaging - just like Melanie herself. She is now on Team Adam. The show wrapped up with Avery Wilson performing Usher's Without You, and wow! He's 16, and he's never taken a single voice lesson. Awwwwmazing! He landed with Cee Lo.

There were a few other highlights for me - I like Nicholas who performed Stand By Me and AJ who sang Just the Way You Are. Both went to Team Cee Lo. As far as a lot of the other auditions, like Beat Frequency - a husband & wife due - and aspiring country singer Liz Davis, they were less than impressive for me. I felt like they were really missing something key. They went with Team Xtine & Team Blake, respectively.
