Kat Says Thank You to the Tristate

I recently was incredibly honored to learn that not only was I was being included in News 4U's list of the 20 most influential people under 40, but that I would be the recipient of a Courier & Press Reader's Choice Award. I was dumbfounded, and I want to say thank you!

I have been on the airwaves in Evansville since 2006, and this is the first time that anything like this has ever happened to me. Both the News 4U honor and the C&P Reader's Choice award were both voting based, and that means that you voted for me. I want to say thank you. Thank you for waking up with me every morning on the Rob's Radio Show. Thank you for following me on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram. Thank you for introducing yourself to me when you spot me at the gas station. I love meeting each of you. I love getting to know you.

I get up every morning and know that when I get to work, I am going to have fun. It's going to be a good day, and it's all because of you. So, thank you. Without you, my job would not be possible. Without you this award would not be possible. I am forever grateful for you.
