One of the most meaningful (and FUN) nights of the year is almost here! The 24th annual Youth First Benefit Auction is happening Thursday, April 23, 2026, and before I tell you more about the auction, let me remind why it is so important.

Why Youth First Makes A Big Impact

For 28 years, Youth First has been making a real difference across Indiana – strengthening youth and families, helping students succeed both in school and in life, and supporting the emotional well-being of kids in 14 counties. Today, more than 55,000 students have access to Youth First’s programs, and that number keeps growing.

How Youth First Supports Students Every Day

Youth First places over 100 highly trained mental health professionals (many of them are master’s-level social workers) directly inside 133 schools. That means students get the support they need, right where they are. On top of that, they offer proven programs like Family First, LifeSkills, In It to Win It, Al’s Pals, and Reconnecting Youth – programs designed to build confidence, encourage healthy choices, and help kids navigate life’s challenges.

What To Expect At The Benefit Auction

The 24th Annual Youth First Benefit Auction will take place at Bally’s Riverfront Event Center on the riverfront in Evansville, and it is completely FREE to attend!

Struggles We Had That Kids Today Don't

There are all kinds of things we had to do when I was young that would appall kids and young adults today.
