Meet GEORGIA: The Adorable German Shepherd Mix Ready for a Forever Home
This week I have GEORGIA on my mind! GEORGIA is our Pet of the Week from It Takes a Village in Evansville. Would you just look at this sweet girl?!
GEORGIA is a gorgeous 3-year-old German Shepherd mix who was surrendered to It Takes a Village by her former owners. They did a great job with her, though, GEORGIA is house-trained, crate-trained, leash-trained, and always comes when called.
Her previous owner describes her as a "good girl" who enjoys spending time outside, going for walks, and soaking up all the attention she can get - and she would make the perfect addition to any loving family.
GEORGIA is used to being around kiddos (and loves them) and does well around smaller dogs.
Do you have any room in your heart and home for GEORGIA? If you would like to meet this sweet German Shepherd mix, please fill out an online adoption application and then a meet & greet can be scheduled.
All the animals at It Takes a Village are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, and treated if necessary.
If our pet of the week isn’t the right fit for your home, please visit It Takes a Village to see the other rescues that need to get fostered and adopted. And don't forget about their RENT A DOG Program. A quick fill form and copy of your photo ID will allow you time out with one of ITV's vetted shelter dogs. These day dates are great for the rescues - it gets them some exercise and new information to help us get them adopted. It’s been a big hit- so don’t miss out!
