This time of year brings several fun things to Evansville students: Spring break, prom, baseball, softball, cross country, lacrosse, and other spring sports. This time of year is also when high school theatre departments are hard at work on their spring productions.

The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC) announced the shows being presented by six Evansville high schools this spring. Fans of the theatre can choose from plays, musicals, and even dinner theatre. Check out the schedule below, and make plans to support all of these talented students.

North High School presents Lost Girl

Lost Girl is a play by Kimberly Belflower that tells the story of Wendy Darling, the young girl from Peter Pan, as she navigates adulthood after returning from Neverland. You can see Lost Girl on March 6, 7, and 8 at 7pm, and March 9 at 2pm.

Harrison High School presents Pippin

Pippin is a young prince who is searching to find passion and adventure in his life. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh, and the intrigues of political power. You can see Pippin on March 7 and 8 at 7pm, and on March 9 at 2pm.

Central High School presents The Pajama Game

The Pajama Game is a musical about an Iowa pajama factory worker who falls in love with a superintendent who had been hired by the factory's boss to help oppose the workers' demand for a pay raise. You can see The Pajama Game on March 13, 14, and 15 at 7pm and on March 16 at 2pm.

F.J. Reitz High School presents 9 to 5 the Musical

As you probably guessed, 9 to 5 the Musical is based on the 1980 movie of the same name. It tells the story of three female coworkers who plot revenge against their boss. You can see 9 to 5 the Musical on March 13, 14, and 15 at 7pm and on March 16 at 2pm.
