They’ve Got Talent Too — And Owensboro Proved It!
One of my favorite events of the year took place yesterday. The Opportunity Center of Owensboro hosted the 3rd Annual We've Got Talent Too contest and twenty-six contestants- representing a total of ten service agencies in the area- took to the stage to compete for a spot inside the Top 5!
The contestants represented the Wendell Foster Center, The Ability Center, Puzzle Pieces, GRADSA, Bridges, Active Day, To The Max, Commonwealth Connections, Strategic Partners, and the host site- The Opportunity Center, who landed three performers inside the Top 5.
Here are some photo highlights from the show and a look at each performer in action!

I was told after the show by a staff member of The Opportunity Center that Louie, one day in rehearsal, just casually mentioned that he could sing too. So, they said, "Well, come on. Do it." He certainly did. His Elvis tribute had a couple of the judges in tears and much of the audience on their feet.
