Watch Steve Zahn’s Hilarious & Heartwarming Kentucky Tourism Ad

There are a handful of movies that I can quote from beginning to end, and a few of those star the hilariously lovely Steve Zahn. That Thing You Do, You've Got Mail, Sahara, to name my faves. More recently, though, he was wonderful in the first season of The White Lotus on Max.

Sometimes I forget that he is an honorary Kentuckian. Although he is from Minnesota, he has lived here in the Bluegrass State for years. And you know what? It makes sense. His whole vibe just gives off Kentucky energy. I'm not quite sure how to explain it, but IYKYK.

For that reason, it also makes sense that Steve (I feel like we're all first-name friends here in the Commonwealth) would be a spokesperson for our wonderful home. Whoever runs Visit Lexington's marketing department deserves a big fat raise because they have the best ads in the game.

Just last year, they ran a whole campaign that was actually sent into outer space! A welcome message telling visitors from literally the entire universe how to plan a trip to Kentucky for a dang good time.

Now, Steve, in his own special brand of heartwarming humor, is sharing why you need to come home to Kentucky. Kinda sorta quoting a famous U.S. Senator from KY, Happy Chandler. Even if it isn't your home, it will still feel that way when you stay and play here. Enjoy!
