America’s Biggest Free Christmas Show Is Back in Kentucky
My mom absolutely loved Christmas.
Not just Christmas Day. The whole season!
She never met a Christmas decoration she didn't like. Unique Santa? Beautiful wreath? Handmade ornament? Didn't matter. If it was festive, it was coming home with her.
When she passed away, we had an entire section of her estate sale that was nothing but Christmas decorations. That's how much she loved it.
So when I came across this, my first thought was, "Mom would have loaded up the car."
Save the date! The Stewart Promotions Christmas Gift & Decor Show is coming back to the Kentucky Expo in Louisville December 11 through 13, and organizers say it's the largest free-admission Christmas show in the nation.
That's a pretty big claim!
More than 700 vendor booths. Seven. Hundred. Christmas décor, handmade gifts, home décor, specialty foods, clothing, jewelry. If you can wrap it, somebody's probably selling it there.
This thing's been going since 1988 and pulls in more than 40,000 people a year. So if you've never been, you're not late to the party. You're just fashionably 38 years late like me!
Two hours from Owensboro. That's a road trip playlist and a gas station snack run, and you're there.
Oh, and they're looking for vendors too. You don't even have to sell Christmas stuff. Basically, if it could go under a tree, they want you there. Booth space sells out every year, so don't sit on it if you're thinking about applying.

Have you been? Tell me I'm not the last person in western Kentucky to find out about this! What'd you buy? Is it worth the drive?
