Dinosaur World Confirms Viral Live Event Is Fake and Warns the Public

As technology gets better and faster, we probably need to accept the reality that bad people will take advantage of it. That's probably one explanation for the proliferation of scams over the last few years.

Whoever the perpetrators were tried it with me by texting me a warning about not showing up for jury duty. Of course, it was absurd. The one time I was called up for jury duty, I was there and did what I was supposed to do. Whoever you are, please do not try to gaslight me.

Dinosaur World Live Scam

Now, I've learned of another Kentucky scam that has a fictional event at its core, and I can see where it might work, sadly. One of Cave City, Kentucky's top attractions is Dinosaur World. You can see them from Interstate 65, and when you arrive, you can then see very few available parking spaces. So, if folks start seeing posts about an event called Dinosaur World LIVE, they're going to click through. Unfortunately, some of them have gone the distance and forked over the money.

But this event does not exist, and warnings from Cave City and the attraction itself are popping up on Facebook.

And these scammers have done their homework, announcing multiple dates and providing links to ticket resale sites like StubHub and Vivid Seats, among others.

So let's go straight to the horse's mouth...Dinosaur World wants everyone to know that if you want to visit (or if this event really did exist), you need to go to dinosaurworld.com/kentucky.

There are also Dinosaur World locations in Florida and Texas.
