OK, so I know it may feel too early to talk about Christmas, but the way time is flying these days, the holidays will be here before you know it. If you're like me, one of the Christmas traditions you look forward to is cuddling up to watch festive movies.

My family has several favorites that include Buddy the Elf, The Muppets, Kevin McCallister, and, of course, Ralphie and his Red Ryder BB Gun. Every December 25th, the classic movie A Christmas Story airs on a loop for 24 hours on cable TV. We used to keep it on all day when I was growing up. It was the background for playing with new toys and eating treats.

SO many quotable lines!Definitely one of the most iconic movies of all time. If the story of the Parker family is special to you and yours, The Brown Theatre in Louisville, KY, is hosting a viewing of the movie this December 17th.

What a great venue for watching holiday season shenanigans on a big screen. What makes this really cool is that following the film, there will be a moderated question & answer session with Peter Billingsley himself. The actor who played Ralphie. What would you ask him if you had the chance?

I would love to hear the behind-the-scenes story of what happened while filming Flick stick his tongue to the flag pole. Or what he thought of the ridiculous leg lamp as a kid. I wonder whether he still makes sure to drink his Ovaltine.
