Far be it from me to say whether or not Bigfoot is the real deal because I've never really been on a hunt to find it. On the other hand, there are plenty of people who have, and before you think that's just nuts, there's literally a TV show about the whole thing.

The Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization has put together a handy map of the number of Bigfoot sightings by state, and whoo, boy, I had no idea there were so many across the US.
How Many Bigfoot Sightings in Illinois?
Even wilder is the number of Bigfoot sightings in Illinois. While that number pales in comparison to the leader, the true OG of Bigfoot's whereabouts, Washington, there's still quite a bit in the Land of Lincoln.

According to the infographic, there have been nearly 700 Washington state Bigfoot sightings, with just about 450 in California. Florida has the third-most. Behind the Sunshine State, Ohio has been privy to seeing Bigfoot hanging about, with Illinois ranking fifth in the country.
Wait, Illinois Beats Texas in Bigfoot Sightings?
I don't understand how Illinois has more Bigfoot sightings than, say, Texas, but it's all there. You know what else is there? Snarky responses to the news posted on Facebook:
