Illinois Woman Gives Cannabis Candy To Children

To this day, I still remember some of the things my parents told me when I was a kid. Many of them were about people I didn't know. For example, don't talk to strangers, don't get a ride with a stranger, and don't take candy from a stranger, to name a couple.

Authorities in Wheeling are searching for a woman who allegedly gave THC candy to children at a park Sunday afternoon.

The Wheeling Police Department said just after 3:30 p.m. Sunday, officers were sent to Pleasant Run/Four Acres Park to investigate after four children reportedly grew “fatigued and sluggish” after eating candy given to them by an unknown woman at the park.

This incident could've been completely avoided if these kids had known the rule of not taking candy from strangers, especially in a state where recreational cannabis is legal and treats infused with THC are easy to come by.

I really hope that the local police can track down this evil woman because that's a horrible thing to do to kids. It's absolutely NOT funny at all. They should throw her in jail for a long time.
