Where snow could potentially fall is not usually viewed as the kind of place that you've got to drag the entire family to in order to see and do some cool stuff.
Again, my view might be slightly tilted due to having lived in and near this city for so long.

On a list of the 15 Best Places to Visit in the USA in the Spring, they managed to highlight a city in the midwest, Illinois, to be specific and posted it highly on their list.
The Wandering Wheatleys website says Chicago is the 2nd best spring break destination in America.

They say we should go and enjoy the festival season in Chicago, saying The Windy City is "one of the best places to travel in the spring, thanks to all its blooming gardens."
The Wandering Wheatleys also say another good reason to head to Chicago is "because there's always something to do."
Agreed. If you go to Chicago and you're from out of town, you might have the opportunity to witness snowfall in March or April.

That said, a little bit of winter in the Spring is part of the charm in Chicago. Spring is a mix of surprises; one day, you're walking through Lincoln Park Zoo, and the next, you're watching snowflakes dust the city skyline.
Where else can you go for spring break where there's the possibility of experiencing two seasons on one trip?
