New Village Gastro Pub in Northbrook ranked no. 22, making it the highest-ranked Illinois restaurant on the list.

The entire top 25 is littered with spots from California and Florida, but the New Village Gastro Pub was the only Illinois restaurant to crack that tier.

New Village Gastro Pub says they are "inspired by the lively street food stalls of Korea" and aims to bring the bold flavors of Korean Pocha culture to Northbok.

Their goal? Create a "warm, welcoming space where friends and family can come together to enjoy bold flavors, refreshing drinks, and an unforgettable dining experience."

• No. 54 - Lawrence Fish Market
• No. 72 - Virtue Restaurant

Wisconsin didn't miss out; Odd Duck in Milwaukee secured a spot on the list as well.
